Sharon Traveston is a running back for the Downriver Waves.
Biography
Sharon is the younger sister of Colin Traveston (Full Forward for the FAFL's Fremantle Panthers). She lived in Australia for too long and was perhaps too smart for her own good. She also lived a very active life in which her family were all active. The young female lynx grew fascinated with American football and loved to run.
She wanted to provide the money for her mother's cancer treatment and she learned that football in the United States can get paid really well. She made aspirations and became her dream to come to the US to start a career in football.
The family was against the idea but her brother Colin was all for it, supported her and even gave his sibling some money to cover for traveling expenses. She couldn't have thanked him enough.
Sharon made a promise to her brother that she'll do the very best she can and to make their mother and family proud, also to pay back for the trip to the United States and any practical means.
Questionnaire
Coaches need running backs who can break through the defensive line. What does your player do to improve their abilities?
- Think faster than what the defensive line can act on. She can pretty much find a way through any sort of hole. If there isn't a way, she'll find one even if it's risky.
What is your running back's favorite vacation spot?
- Yellowstone National Park
Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer?
- She's going to be concerned about security. She wants to try her best to be the best she can be on the team. Her commitment to any team is strong in this one. She'll probably do anything she can even if it's pushing herself hard to get her spot on the team.
What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher?
- She will train harder, work out in the gym, run miles on end in order to prove to herself, the UFFL, and her family that she's a hard worker and is willing to do whatever it takes to earn the top spot in the draft.
