The North Florida Renegades are an original UFFL team, introduced in 2014 to the United Conference.

The original FAFF teams, the Miami Heat and Orlando Disneys, combined with the UFFL teams of northern Florida to start a resurgence in football. Historically, the 1960's and 1970's were their greatest years, and they won a championship in 1966 - nearly 50 years ago.

From 2014 to 2016, the Renegades played one game each year in Miami, Florida (wearing their throwback red & yellow Heat jerseys) to commemorate their days of playing in the FAFF. When the Miami Tropics were introduced in 2017, the game turned into a cross-state rivalry.

In 2018, as part of the UFFL expansion to 16 teams, North Florida moved to the Continental Conference.
