Aleksy, who grew up in a Jewish household in Chicago’s Polish Village, was a fan favorite at Northern Illinois Rodentia University for reliably making catches for first downs and shaking off big hits. The gritty, stocky slot receiver was also a favorite target of his quarterback, setting school records for receptions. Like any true Chicagoan, he loves his pork (especially sausage), and his childhood dream is to play for his hometown [[Chicago Outlaws]].
