Aleksy Wisnieski is a wide receiver free agent in the UFFL.

Biography

Aleksy, who grew up in a Jewish household in Chicago’s Polish Village, was a fan favorite at Northern Illinois Rodentia University for reliably making catches for first downs and shaking off big hits. The gritty, stocky slot receiver was also a favorite target of his quarterback, setting school records for receptions. Like any true Chicagoan, he loves his pork (especially sausage), and his childhood dream is to play for his hometown Chicago Outlaws.

Interview

What is your receiver's favorite vacation spot? What do they like to do there? Alesky spends his summers camping, canoeing and fishing at Kayak Morris Campground on the Illinois River.

Receivers must be agile and have great hands/paws, but not all species are built like that. What does your player do to improve their abilities? Alesky focuses on the fundamentals to make up for a lack of athleticism. He makes a point to bring the football into his body and get both paws on it when making a catch. He also tends to run straightforward routes. But he also has a physical edge to him. He is not afraid to take big hits, use a stiff arm or elbow against a defensive player, or dish out a block or two.

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer? Security. Alesky considers himself to be a loyal fur.

What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher? Alesky only knows one way to improve, and that's putting the work in on the practice field.
