Tyler Franklin is a rookie quarterback for the California Dons.
Biography
Tyler's your average otter QB from Miami, Florida and Red River Tech. Aside from football, Tyler enjoys fishing, surfing, swimming, and dishing out his rather unique style of pass plays by being ambidextrous. He was 6 years old when his parents saw him using both his paws on a coloring book when he'd use two colors at one time and color a pretty picture without errors. In the middle of high school, his coaches were impressed at his accuracy with his left and right handed throws. While his schools didn't make nationals or win any titles, his paws were the talk of the town when it came to throwing the old pigskin around.
Evaluation
3 stars and a Half. Dexterity. Accurate passer. Ambidexterity would make for some interesting gadget plays. Would need further training to set him apart as a top tier QB. An ambidextrous QB? A creative coach would be able to utilize Tyler’s unique ability to its fullest; for one, he’d never have to throw against his body while on the run. While his accuracy is top-notch on short and medium throws, a good DC will see which arm is his best for long throws and key on that. If I needed a QB right now to amaze the fans, I’d be willing to gamble on Tyler.
