Template:Infobox playerArthur Brisby is a rookie offensive linefur for the Portland Roses. He was the first player ever to be picked in a draft by the Roses franchise.
Biography
A bit of a gentle giant, Arthur is a kind soul off the field, and a determined unmoving wall on it. Born in the Burbs of Santa Fe, Arthur joined the local boys and girls club teams during his teens, and thanks to be large size and steady posture, succeeded at being on the line, both offensively and defensively. In high-school he was seen as an excellent end anchor to the teams line, allowing the offensive to cause many a play. This success lead him to get a sponsorship at Albuquerque, and there he would succeed, as with him on the line, the team was able to run whatever play they needed, and usually would get it done. In this Senior year, he would help the o line to conference leading numbers in sacks allowed, and help the local star running back get to a 1000 yard season.
Evaluation
3 stars. Great protection on the line, might make for a good left tackle with a little seasoning. From the film I’ve seen, Arthur can be the strong, steady rock on the end of the offensive line for many years to come. His footwork can be a bit sloppy at times, but that can be cleaned up on the practice field with work. What he needs is a good O-line coach and/or a veteran mentor to help him along, and with all the talent in the draft, I’m seeing Arthur going in the 2nd round.
