Jakob Nash is a Linebacker for the New Orleans Corsairs in the UFFL.

History

Jakob is the second of three brothers in the Nash family, the middle child of two meteorologists. His older and younger brothers wanted to be quarterbacks (older brother Markus ended up a linefur, but that's another story) but Jakob always sought out to be a linebacker. While not grabbed up (under dubious and TOTALLY non kinky circumstances) by GSU-Galveston like said brothers, Jakob opted for a more local option in terms of schooling and stayed in his native Oklahoma for schools, to marginal success (Markus notably took a redshirt year in his QB turned lineman college career) playing four years, as he always had, as a linebacker. OKT is a lesser conference than gulf state so, while conference champions two out of his four years, skeptics attribute successful campaigns (relative to his brother) to a dearth of competition. Unconcerned by the surprise number one picking of his brother, Jakob hopes he can make his own claim on a different path than his brother. "Love him to death, but [Markus] only hit the gym when his arm couldn't cut it in college. I've been lifting and working at this position since I was ten." Maybe a chip on that keratinized shoulder? But Jakob follows the family habit of using nail polish to colorful effect in games. A little more brash and a little less brick-headed than his brother the boulder, Jakob wants to demonstrate his dedication to the role he always wanted to play ,rather than filling in on a needed position.
