Biography
Kado Azeban is a somewhat short, heavyset raccoon with a powerful kick. He was a decent soccer player in high school, on his way to earning a scholarship in college, but the first soccer game of his senior year in high school, he broke his ankle and ended up missing the whole season. His weight skyrocketed with the lack of exercise, and in an effort to help him slim down to keep his award, Kado agreed to train with the football team.
Alaska's football coach saw potential in him, and insisted he play for his team, changing his regimen from cardio and weight loss to strength-building to make his kick longer. Kado lost his scholarship for Soccer, but replaced it with a similar award for football, and after 3 years of development, seeks to leave school a year early to try his hand at the UFFL as a professional kicker.
Evaluation
2 stars and a half. Soccer-style kickers (those are definitely en vogue now) could be an asset on special teams, even after the kick. Ankle stability concerns following his injury, serious concerns about his physical fitness and ability to hold up for an entire season at a high level. If Kado can also lay some big hits on kick returners, the fans will adore him. I would like to see him kick more to see if he can put his weight behind it and give it a good ride.
