Micheal Barnaby is a rookie running back for the California Dons.

Biography

For Micheal, it has been a life where his feet and his short stature have gotten him to where he wanted to go. Born into a middle-class family in the suburbs of Arizona, Micheal's sports life would start early, as his family would get him into the local boys and girls club baseball team. While not the best player on the field, the coaches did find him quick of feet on the bases, and rather adept at beating the tag on the slide, and took any chance they could to put him in as the pinch runner.

In high school that quickness lead to taking up track and field in his freshman and sophomore years, and helping to get the school county titles each year. In his Junior year, it was advised to him to take up football, and he accepted and joined the team. While his team struggled at times, his performance was enough to have him offered a full scholarship from Albuquerque, which he accepted.

At Albuquerque, Micheal succeeded, as his quick feet and deft movements lead to an 3 80 yard average seasons, and a 100 yard season in his senior year, as he helped to lead the college to a conference title and a #12 ranking in the national rankings. For that performance, he was awarded the Doke Sprinter Award for 2015, and enters the draft hoping to be picked up high.

Interview

Coaches don't like backs who fumble in the UFFL. What does your back do to help avoid fumbling?

Micheal keeps the ball close in to his chest, and does his best to twist away from tacklers so as to keep them out of reach of the ball.

If you asked your RB, "What do you do in your free time?" how would they respond?

"I like to run and jog, I don't know why but it's always fun to have the wind rolling against me as I run ^^"

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer?

Micheal is going to care about security. Money is nice, and will give him a good life, but he would prefer not to have to constantly move.

What is your player doing to improve their chances of being signed to a team?

Micheal is running to keep his feet healthy and working at the gym to make sure he's in shape and prepared.
