Derrick Wells is a prospective rookie strong safety for the UFFL.

Biography

Wells always liked playing football and had the speed and strength in order to carry out his duties as a strong safety. He grew up in a home where things in life could not come free but instead had to be worked for. He had this mindset at the start of his junior high school career and enjoyed what he did best: play as a strong safety. His aspirations for playing football grew more and more prominent and practices with the team became intense. Derrick was highly regarded as being one of the best strong safety the team has known. He knew how to act in a tough situation and quickly change tactics on the field. He was also very intelligent and kept up his studies while studying the playbook. He hardly did anything troublesome and never pulled pranks. He went into college and things were tough for him due to his tuition, but he’d never let that hinder his way from playing the sport he loves. He pursued on with determination and played football for four years and many times the team lost. Wells continued pursuing on and made himself better throughout the years in training and in the off-season. He kept himself fit and ready for action for the seasons ahead. By his senior year, he graduated with leading the team into the play-offs and got himself “Most Improved Player” award. Derrick declared that he was going to join the UFFL and try to make it on one of the teams that needed him most. Nothing was going to stop “Spots” from pursuing his dream.
