2017 UFFL Draft

The 2017 UFFL Draft (Season 4) was held in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 13th, 2017 at 4:00 PM PST (7:00 PM EST, Midnight England/BST) in the Antoine G. Ledoux Memorial Convention Center. This was the first draft that the Corsairs and Miami Tropics participated in.

The event was organized by Ketch Renner and hosted by Pythos Cheetah, and lasted about 4 hours. First round draft picks had TBD minutes to select their first pick; 2nd round and onwards had TBD minutes each. A minimum three rounds were required, per UFFL rules and regulations.

The order of the draft was determined by committee for handling the two expansion teams while giving fair control to those who underperformed in 2016. The best ten teams were ordered based on record/successfulness in the previous year's playoffs.
