Fortuna Angulu
Template:Infobox playerFortuna Angulu is a rookie defensive tackle for the Chicago Outlaws.
Biography
Born and raised in Nigeria, Fortuna did not play American football until she was recruited into a college system. Rather, in a house of four children (of which she is the third) she was generally the roughhouse of the group. Tough as nails, Fortuna went out for rugby in her high school years, but during a travel to the states her junior year of high school, she took an instant liking to the sport after watching a uffl game, and she soon translated her skills to be a successful linefurs on the defensive side, a position she took on when she came back to the states to play for and study at Gem State in Boise, Idaho. She played through four years, completed studies and degree, but ultimately opted to sign for the draft rather than go back home. Nevertheless, Fortuna takes pride in her Nigerian upbringing and brings her love of international studies to an undergraduate in anthropomorphology... unless she finds immense success in the UFFL. The future looks fortunate for Fortuna.
Rookie Scouting Report
Brock Brezniski: I don’t think I’ve seen as strong of an international contingent as this year’s draft has. And among these players, Fortuna just might be among the best of them. One anonymous scout was concerned about her size in the middle, but she has a surprising amount of strength and can tie up blockers in the running game. She is still a work in progress, but Fortuna can be a vital part of any defense.
