History

Born to middle class parents in the suburbs of DC, William was a bright kid who loved playing outside, and playing sports. Playing soccer and flag football at the local boys and girls club, William started to shine with his ability to dodge by people and take steal the ball and stop of the play of opponents. His parents seeing this, he was put into a local football program, and started to learn the ways of the defensive lineman.

In high school, his aggressive lineman play and ability to crash through the line without spiking people helped to lead his High School to a local championship during his Junior year, and to be highlighted in the Washington Tail Newspapers top High School Prospects.
Deciding to go locally for college at Division-IA Bearyland, Tancreti helped the Diamondbacks to bowl eligible winning records in his junior and senior seasons, and lead all defensive lineman in sacks and fumbles forced among the Eastern Coastal Conference.
After reviewing some of his film, we asked Brace Bracy, GM of the Baltimore Ponies, to give us his thoughts about this young talent and his potential future in the UFFL:
"I had the pleasure of watching William play in person, and the thing that really struck me first was ability to get past the offensive line into that next level to really wreak havoc on the quarterback. I noticed that he likes to blitz the QB especially and is very successful at causes sacks and forcing the offense to make mistakes. His capabilities against the rush are quite good, but it's that ability and range to get to the QB that makes him an excellent prospect. I definitely see him as a 1st or 2nd round kind of guy. Some might say that his short stature could be a hindrance to pass disruption, but I actually think that it serves as an advantage when it comes to moving defenders and slipping behind the line. He should have a long, successful career in the UFFL as long as he can stay healthy, and who knows, he might be playing for us very soon. We do like to keep the local talent!"
