Clyde Rivers is a running back for the Texas Ramblers, focused primarily on the full back position.

Biography

Clyde Rivers had always enjoyed swimming and being around water, but with his bulky muscular size, he was recruited to play football as well by his high school's coach, and soon picked up on the game quickly. It gave him another reason to work out in the gym to keep up his toned build, and soon found his calling as a fullback for the team. With his size and strength, he made for a good blocker to help the running game, and made it tough for defenses to bring him down when he carried it himself. His high stamina also made him a valuable asset, as coaches found he didn't need to come out for very long. After attending school in-state at the Canine Academy of Michigan, Rivers is poised to join the pro ranks and prove he can help any team that takes a chance on him.

Interview

Coaches need running backs who can break through the defensive line. What does your player do to improve their abilities?

Clyde spends a lot of time working out in the gym when he's not swimming or taking the time to relax. He takes pride in having a strong upper body, good for powering through tackles and providing good blocking.

What is your running back's favorite vacation spot?

He loves spending time by the water, so places with lakes or beaches are where he likes to spend his off-season time.

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer?

Clyde will be more interested in loyalty to a team.

What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher?

Spending time working out in the gym, building up strength to keep in solid playing shape.
