Billy-Bob Robertson is a prospective defensive end draftee for the UFFL.

Biography

William Robertson grew up in a small coal-mining community in eastern West Virginia. Though neither of his parents were miners themselves, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that he'd end up in the mines if he couldn't get out. Fortunately, sports proved to be his escape. He was already over six feet tall by age 14, and was flattening much smaller quarterbacks in junior high ball. He wasn't highly scouted due to the relative lack of attention paid to the region, and ended up only getting a scholarship offer from a local West Virginian school.

Once he actually started to play at the FCAA level, however, people started to pay attention. A lot of people. In only his fourth game as a starter, he set not just a school record, but a Division I record with 7 sacks. They started to call him the "Stop Sign", for the school's red uniforms and for the way he could shut down the entire passing offense.
