Marquis Glavine
Template:Infobox playerMarquise Glavine is a rookie strong safety for the New Orleans Corsairs.
Biography
Marquis is a young pronghorn out of San Diego, California. Being studying to become a fitness instructor, he's also been going above expectations in his football career as a Strong Safety for Savannah River. His agility is on par with the best out of his position, and been leading in his FCAA conference in interceptions as well of being top 5 his Kick returns yards for 3 seasons.
Evaluation
2 stars and a half. Great speed for a safety, able to cover both sides of the field if needed in single high safety sets. Pretty good ball-hawking skills. Heavy for a safety. Savannah River has built up quite a program; first Appleby and Hughes, and now Marquis. I can see him being a hybrid safety/linebacker at his size, but he still has that famous antelope agility to beat blocks and get to the ball carrier. I wouldn’t put him back to receive kicks myself, but after seeing him returning picks, he could if a team needed him to. Still, I kind of feel like he could take off 20 pounds and be even more effective.
