History

Growing up a larger child in Japan, Akira always sort of stood out from his fellow students. This caused a bit of ostracization when he was growing up, always feeling quite a bit out of place. While active, he did not have many friends to interact with. However, one of the more pivotal moments in his life was going with his father on a business trip to America. The young boy, while there, was able to attend a football game with his father and his American associates. It was then that he learned of this sport and realized it was a game someone like himself could play.

After this, he made it his life's goal to play football. Whenever he could, he would practice and play it. While not a very popular sport in Japan, he managed to find outlets to play it. By the time he was in high school, he was able to start an American football club. This continued on in college, where his university of choice was a part of a college league of football clubs. He used this league to hone his skills, and get ready for his main goal. It was the football league in the United States that inspired him to work toward becoming a football player, so that is where he was going to shoot for.

While Akira's experience may be more informal than an American draft candidate, he possesses a strong will and determination to excel at the sport. Being from a country where football is not as popular, he had to make due and work that much harder to stand out.
