Andrew Castonguay is a rookie kicker for the California Dons.

Biography

Coming out of CAA, when Andrew doesn't spend time studying in Marine Biology, he is one of the more reliable kickers coming from the Quebec division this past year. Completing over 90% of his field goals attempts in his last University season, this bass proves to have a quick step and and a strong technique that allows him to manage a great completion rate with Field goal attempts over 40 yards. Pretty well fit for a guy in his position, he is able to do his job well in special teams.

Interview

Some species are naturally better built to kick and punt than other species. How does your player's physicalities (hooved feet, short legs, heavy tails, etc.) affect their kicking ability?

The bass' natural ability to go against the current gave Andrew some added power and quickstep to his movement. Thus giving him a better running start when he about to kick the ball.

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer?

Andrew always prefered to stay where he most familiar with. He problably lean more into Security.

In some games, it comes down to the Kicker making a last-second field goal, or the Punter pinning the team deep in their side of the field. What does your player do to prepare for these stressful moments?

He really focus on the moment, make sure it's between him, the ball and the goal, blocking any outside distraction and only concentrating on hearing the current.

What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher?

Lots of swimming and conditioning in order to be at the peek of his demanded abilities.
