Austin Pool is the back-up running back for the Baltimore Ponies. He joined the league in 2007 and is contracted through 2016. After Armando Melendez's retirement, Pool is expected to start. He played for the San Diego Lightning for two years before playing in Baltimore in 2009, and having been here since the league was suspended.
Fans are unsure if Pool can lead the running team, but his high-paying contract is expected to keep him here nevertheless.
