Bart DeGuilhem (pronounced "De-Gillim") is a Tight End for the California Demons in the UFFL.

Biography

Bart comes from Sauropsida University in Utah, with a fiery caliber and personality that instills fear into many defensive coordinators. Barring none other, DeGuilhem is destined to become the best entelodon to ever play football.

Bart's self-centered personality may be considered slimy and disgraceful, but Bart would argue that it's a personality that is necessary in order to be successful in the big leagues.

DeGuilhem managed 895 yards as a tight end in his senior year at Sauropsida, but is most remembered for a last-second catch at the 16-yard line during the last game of the season versus a Colorado college rival. Intelligently running towards the sidelines to stop the clock, the kicker was able to come onto the field and notch the winning score. Prior to this, however, DeGuilhem proceeded to knock into one of the referees on the aforementioned play, and then fell into the Head Coach of the opposing team, who injured his kneecap.

In fact, it kind of looked just like this... [1]

Rookie Interview

Receivers have to have good hands/paws/etc. to play in the UFFL. What does your player do to improve their catch ability?

DeGuilhem's hands are not naturally flexible for his species, but with that being said, he uses specialized gloves that strengthen his hands and gives him more power as a Tight End.

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer?

Bart's not a betting fur, but he is understandably hoping for a long career and a pretty penny to come along with it. However, he knows this means he has to work hard and early to attain that status.

If you asked your receiver, "What do you do in your free time?" how would they respond?

"Eat fried chicken... Haha, just kidding 'ya, I love to go hunting with my brother and father. The family's also big on fishing. In fact, that's where I'm headed after this."

What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher?

His trainer has retrofitted Bart with a specialized gym for larger, bulkier-built bodies. Often mistaken for a suine (a pig or a boar), Bart will surprise scouts with his speed, which is above average for a tight end.
