Chi Lim is a rookie full safety for the New York Titans.

Biography

Chi is the youngest child in a large family, with six brothers and sisters. His parents are both doctors, and he was the only one of his siblings who did not pursue a career in medicine (much to his parents' annoyance). He excelled in both basketball in high school, receiving the MVP award from both teams his senior year.

He received scholarship offers to play both sports, but chose to focus solely on football at Souhwest Arizona University. He had played running back in high school, but made the transition to a defensive role in college. He became a starter as a sophomore, and led the Southern Mountain Conference in pass break-ups that year. He was listed as an honorable mention to the All-Conference team. Unfortunately, he suffered a groin injury during the second game of his junior year, which required season-ending surgery.

Upon his return his senior year, he had a remarkable season, missing only five tackles all season, and finally making the All-Conference team. He was selected as MVP by his team, the first time in 16 years that a defensive player at Southwest Arizona had won the award, and the first safety ever to do so.

Interview

How would your defensive player respond to the question, "Describe your most memorable play in college?" His most memorable play actually wasn't as memorable for the play itself, but rather the aftermath. He made a fairly routine interception during a passing play his sophomore year. On the ensuing return, he was hit hard by an offensive lineman, helmet-to-helmet. He went to the sidelines under his own power, took off his helmet, and immediately threw up all over the head coach. Unfortunately, the game was being televised on FSPNU at the time, and they got a wonderful shot of it that made the Not Top 10.

What is your player's favorite vacation spot? What do they like to do there? His favorite vacation spot is definitely Yosemite. His family would go camping there every year, and would always climb the cable route to the top of Half Dome on the last day of the trip.

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer? Everyone else in his family is a doctor making a six-figure salary. He wants to make the big money so that he can prove that he didn't make the wrong choice to his parents and siblings.

What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher? He has been training for stamina and endurance by running half-marathons.
