Biography

Another great prospect coming from Laval, is the Agora goat Dimitri Roberge. Following Jean-Étienne Tremblay's footsteps but as a Fullback. He manage to make the most out of this underappreciated position as being a great Blocker, thus helping lots on his team offense, being as usual at the top of the Quebec division in overall rushing offense in his last season. Dimitri also no slouch either, as he a sturdy goat that can gain lots of yards after a tackle and great in short yardage situations, one of the best coming out the Canadian program this season.

Evaluation

2 stars and a half. Good at picking up the blitz and in general pass protection. Is big enough to play on the line as a TE if needed. Another 20 pounds and he could serve as an emergency backup at guard as well. I love the program at UAL and Dimitri is another fine product of that program. I see him as purely a blocking back, though his height could facilitate a move to TE if he is willing to learn a new position and doesn’t want to sit behind an established starter. But a good fullback is hard to find, and if he’s still around in the 3rd round, then it would be an absolute gem of a pick.
