Mark Karm is a Wide Receiver for the California Demons in the UFFL.

Biography

Mark had a relatively turbulent childhood. His father was a veteran of war and was hardened by the experience; making him tough as nails and highly demanding of his only son. His mother did her best to hold everything together but eventually divorced early in Mark's life.

Despite this, Mark tried to not let it effect him but his bottled up emotions just festered until he would lash out at anyone nearby. This led to him getting in many fights in middle and high school. Mark would spend time with each of his parents separately, his mom bringing him to therapy while his father focused on having Mark use his anger to get better at sports, something that drove his son to football where he worked harder than anyone on his team to make his parents proud.

Mark's hard work and determination made him a very sought after receiver, willing to fight for every yard he could, even if it caused him to draw penalties in the process. As time went on in college, he calmed down some off the field but still was intense when it counted, always being the first in for training and the last one out as he wasn't looking to make any excuses for not working the hardest and putting in the work to show everyone what kind of man he is.

Player Survey

How does your player's unique physicality (think species) fit well for the position that they play?
His legs allow him to jump higher than many other species, allowing him to get above defenders to catch passes.

What is your player's biggest weakness?
His temper and highly competitive nature makes him able to get distracted and thrown off his game.

If given the opportunity, would your player want to be formally mentored by another player? Why or why not?
No, he prefers to learn everything on his own. If he gets 'help' from another source, he won't feel like he's being genuine with his abilities.
