History

She had heard all the cliches about being a female in sports, dealt with all the insults and lame jokes, but it's the thrill of competition that keeps her in the game. The whole world dissapears around her as she suits up and steps onto the field, where she can be truly herself and enjoy her favorite sport.

Terra would be quite embarrassed to admit that the whole reason why she got into American football in the first place was to be closer to her then sixth grade crush, but stayed on the team when she made the cut and her then-boyfriend did not. Her tall frame and quick feet soon grew to be an asset to her as she developed in her prep school years, making the varsity team as a freshman. Sure, there were detractors stating that her presence on the team was merely a publicity stunt. And to tell the truth, those words did hurt her spirit at times. But the rest of the team was extremely supportive of her, and in her senior year, they won the state championship thanks to a key interception she had made in the fourth quarter of the final game.

University football was a wakeup call for Terra. The media was abuzz when she landed on the Midwestern Reptilian University team, a powerhouse university team based in Chicago, but quickly turned on her when she rode the bench the majority of her freshman and sophomore years, only seeing play during 'garbage time'. However, her Junior and Senior years were standout years for her. Finally landing a starting slot, she showed her worth by setting a school record for most interceptions per game, and most interceptions leading to a touchdown per season. Local media started to see her just as one of the guys, which suited her just fine.

Coming into the draft, she has to offer a keen mind, an agile body free from injury, and a willingness to learn. Her coaches report a strong work ethic and excellent teamwork skills, and despite a slight strength disadvantage, she has excellent awareness and 'football smarts'.
