Travis Lockhart is a rookie quarterback for the Grand Rapids Dragons.

Biography

Travis grew up in a family where he was taught that nothing in life comes easy. One has to work hard in order to achieve that reward. It makes it hard when his parents have 5 siblings: one brother and four sisters. Money was always scarce with parents working full time jobs in order to support their children. Travis was the only one who had a dream of playing in the UFFL. The rest of the siblings chose to venture into other things such as business people or just free-loathers. Travis always had the proper rationale of thinking of what needs to be done right and how it supposed to be. He wasn’t a firm believer in “mooching” off his parents. He wanted to earn money as well to help the family and support them with every means necessary.

Interview

How does your quarterback stay well-conditioned? What do they do to avoid injury? What would they say if they got injured?

He throws the footballs to each member on team. He also likes to study the playbook, keeping himself focused and studying plays from a given playbook, and making sure that the plays he reads up on follows well in his mind. To avoid injury, he relies on his footwork and speed to outmaneuver the running backs.

Where is your Quarterback player's favorite vacation spot?

He likes to go hiking up in the mountains and spend a couple nights there before returning back to urban life. He likes being outdoors and breathes in the fresh air that city life failed to serve.

Football players sign contracts with teams to get paid millions of dollars. When your player is signed to a team, are they going to care more about security (staying on a team longer) or money (earning the big $$$) in their contract offer?

They would care about staying on the team longer (security).

What is your player doing in the off-season to improve their chances of being drafted higher?

He will most likely study playbooks that he can get off his coaches in his down time. He will focus somewhat on weights but not to the extreme. He will keep himself fit for the combine. Also, he will play scrimmages with his friends in New York to keep him attentive to his quarterback abilities. He will go through drills with his best friend who was also his college teammate back in college
